Daft Punk may not have endeared themselves to Stephen Colbert by cancelling on him at the last minute, but the robots are pressing on by plotting the follow-up single to their hit "Get Lucky."
The next single from Random Access Memories is "Lose Yourself to Dance." The Daft Club reports that Columbia has released an advertisement confirming that the single will be released digitally this Tuesday (August 13). There's even a link to an apparent radio edit of the song.
We're not sure whether the track will be accompanied by any B-sides, but Daft Punk previously offered up their own remix of "Get Lucky." According to NME, the single will get a physical release on September 23 in the UK.
"Lose Yourself to Dance" is the logical follow-up to "Get Lucky" in that it also features guest vocals from Pharrell Williams and once against contains a sunny mix of pop hooks and dance grooves, as well as Nile Rodgers's funky guitar work.
It remains to be seen whether the new single will get its own music video. Hear the tune below.
