In 2011, Brooklyn-based pop duo Cults released their self-titled debut and were, for a moment, one of the biggest acts out there. Now, the group will attempt to reclaim some of that glory with a new album.
Their sophomore release is called Static, and was produced by the band themselves with help from producers Shane Stoneback and Ben Allen.
Now much else is known about the record, but a fairly off-putting album trailer is available below. The clip showcases new tracks "We've Got It" and "So Far," which are lushly produced indie pop numbers, along with some relatively spooky visuals.
Static will be available on October 15 via Columbia.
