Earlier this year, Brooklyn, NY's Crystal Stilts confirmed that they would be releasing In Love with Oblivion on April 12 via Slumberland. At the time, they promised to unveil the single "Through the Floor" in March. Now, the single has arrived right on time.
It sounds more or less like what you would expect for the group: a fuzzy rock stomp, complete with poppy melodies and deep, crooning vocals. It's less than two-and-a-half minutes long, and sounds a bit like a '60s garage pop tune that's been given a scuzzy, reverb-soaked makeover.
Stream it below. As for what to expect from the rest of the LP, Slumberland says that it's "full of elliptical verses and perfectly chiming guitars, cranky pop organs and the punkest of rhythms."
