Gloomy Toronto psych-rockers Crosss combine their heavy sound with a continuous rhythmic flow that creates a listening experience that is fully engaging. Following 2013's Obsidian Spectre, their most recent full-length, Lo, is a reintroduction to their gritty, shadowy sound.
When the quartet stopped by Toronto for NXNE, we caught up with them to film a session for Exclaim! TV, where they performed an extended version of "Old Sound" and "Interlocutor" at the NXNE Hub.
In the performance below, the band waste no time showcasing their signature heavy sound, as waves of blaring distorted guitars and hard-hitting drums set a futuristic drone-like atmosphere to their set.
