Crocodiles have put out two LPs, plus an EP, since 2009, and it looks as if the San Diego fuzz-lovers aren't planning on slowing down anytime soon, since they just announced plans to release their third full-length this year.
Entitled Endless Flowers, it's scheduled to come out in Europe on June 4 through Germany's Souterrain Transmissions. While we still don't know much about the album (and the North American release details are still up in the air), you can get a taste the band's new material in the form of the single "Sunday (Psychic Conversation #9)," which is streaming at the bottom of the page. Clearly, Crocodiles haven't lost any of their affection for noise-soaked psychedelic pop.
UPDATE: The album is due out in North America via French Kiss on June 5. The tracklist is below.
If you like what you hear, the single will be out as a seven-inch on March 27 via French Kiss. The release will include the B-side, "Fascist Cops."
In the coming weeks, Crocodiles will spread the word of the forthcoming release with a North American tour. In addition to a number of U.S. dates, the band have two Canuck dates this month: Montreal on Wednesday (February 22) and Toronto the next day. See the schedule below.
