The members of Calgary trio Crims & Flow are no strangers to weirdo synth music. After all, they also spend time in projects like PMMA and Aiwass, among others.
On their new tape Nightmare Food in the Vacuum Room, however, Crims & Flow set themselves apart by adding a sense of humour and fun to their otherworldly synth sounds.
The music is still foreboding and strange, pairing otherworldly synths with drum machines and the occasional guitar stab, but you can tell these three are having fun with it. It's nearly impossible not to grin while listening to the chorus of "Lizard People."
