The Cribs Announce North American Tour with Johnny Marr

BY Josiah HughesPublished Nov 17, 2009

UK indie rockers the Cribs recently released their fourth album, and first with Smiths/Modest Mouse guitarist Johnny Marr, Ignore the Ignorant. To celebrate, they've announced a string of tour dates to end out 2009 and kick off 2010.

First things first, the band will spread the love through Europe, where they'll enjoy an opening spot for Franz Ferdinand. Then, they'll spend December touring the UK, where it's safe to say that the Fall's Mark E. Smith likely won't be attending.

Once January arrives, the band will hop the pond for a North American tour. The month-long trek includes Canadian stops in Toronto and Vancouver, which shouldn't be missed since Marr will be in tow.
