Last year, Craft Spells released a "near-perfect summer album" in Idle Labor, and now, California songwriter Justin Vallesteros and his cohorts are ready to drop a follow-up EP. Entitled Gallery, it's due out May 15 through Captured Tracks.
According to a press release, the collection won't be too much of a departure from Craft Spells' past work, as "speckles of '80s synth pop and drum loops remain the nostalgic centrepiece."
Hear proof of this by streaming the synth-dappled opening track, "Still Left with Me," at the bottom of the page. Judging by the tracklist (which is also below), the EP will be as bright and summery as ever, since song titles include "Warmth" and "Sun Trails."
