Following last year's The Palm of the End of the Mind, Halifax garage rock combo Cousins have a new album, The Halls of Wickwire, on the way. While the album details are still up in the air, the band have shared a video for a new song called "What's Your Name?"
The song is an explosive garage number, while the accompanying video reinforces the mood with explosions of a more literal variety. We see fireworks blasting off at nighttime and in confined spaces, and the only figures we see are balaclava-wearing folks wielding roman candles and flashlights.
The Halls of Wickwire was recorded by Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) and engineer Josh Korody (Beliefs). Cousins will also be playing Halifax's OBEY Convention on June 7, Toronto NXNE on June 15 and Calgary's Sled Island on June 21 and 22.
