Courtney Love Labels Bikini Kill the "Biggest Hoax in History of Rock and Roll"

Never one to mince words, Courtney Love is reminding us of her hate for Kathleen Hanna and her newly reunited Bikini Kill.

Reviving a decades-old beef, Love recently left some scathing comments under an enthusiastic Bust Magazine Instagram post about Bikini Kill's upcoming reunion shows, Pitchfork points out. Putting Bikini Kill in the crosshairs, Love wrote, "Speak for yourself. Biggest hoax in history of rock and roll."

Love didn't stop there either. When another commenter mocked Love by saying her words might "actually offend a person and they will implode," the Hole frontwoman responded with this:

Yeah. It's worse when I speak truth to rock male industrial complex. But at least I have the best view. Two of that band total amateurs. Hanna is a good hype man. But her persona is such a diy nonsense dilettante. A big idea they cannot convey, because they suck. That's all! Back to Paris couture, because frocks don't trigger me. Ce vai!

To refresh your memory, Love's feud with Hanna and Bikini Kill dates way back to the 1990s, with it all bubbling over during Lollapalooza '95, where Hanna and Love are rumoured to have exchanged blows, verbally and perhaps even physically.

As previously reported, Bikini Kill will be reuniting for a series of U.S. shows this year. You can learn more here.
