Corb Lund is at last ready to make a new full-length statement. The beloved Canadian country artist has just announced the new album Agricultural Tragic, which will arrive on April 24 via New West Records. Right now, though, you can preview the record with the new song "90 Seconds of Your Time," plus check out all the dates on Corb Lund's newly announced Canadian tour.

UPDATE (4/2, 2:30 p.m. ET): Corb Lund has now postponed Agricultural Tragic until June 26, as well as rescheduled his tour dates until later this year. You can see his updated schedule here.

The album marks his first LP of original material since 2015's Things That Can't Be Undone, though Lund did release the covers EP Cover Your Tracks last year.

The album's first single, "90 Seconds of Your Time," is described as "a punchy, real-life tale of Lund expressing concerns to a militant mountain guide bent on murder after three mules and a horse mysteriously disappeared from their camp."

Hear "90 Seconds of Your Time" below.

According to a press release, the album title Agricultural Tragic refers to the name of Lund's self-applied subgenre.

"While examining his own body of work, he noticed and wryly named this larger narrative string of rural adversities," it explains. "These themes continue to feature prominently in Lund's latest songwriting, thus leading him to choose Agricultural Tragic for the name of his 10th full-length studio album."

In a statement, Lund himself said, "I worked really hard on this album — harder than I've ever worked before. This time around I took my time and wrote more songs, rehearsed more with the band, and explored sounds much more deeply. It took some time, but I'm really proud of this one and I'm excited to finally be able to share it."

He added, "There are people who do Western music and they kind of freeze-dry it, like museum stye. I don't do that at all. I'm interested in expressing myself currently. Which is actually what it feels like to have six generations of cowboy heritage thrown into the crazy 21st Century urban setting. I love the traditional style and I use it. But I approach it with abandon and irreverence."

In support of the new album, Lund has already announced a sprawling tour, which will hit many parts of Canada. You can see the schedule below, where you can also find the tracklist to the new album.

Agricultural Tragic is now available to pre-order directly via New West. In addition to the CD and digital versions of the record, it will come on standard black vinyl and on limited clear wax.
