Corb Lund "Washed-Up Rock Star Factory Blues"

Corb Lund 'Washed-Up Rock Star Factory Blues'
Is Corb Lund planning a career change? The Alberta country rocker just unveiled a track called "Washed-Up Rock Star Factory Blues" about a musician returning back to the blue-collar workforce.

The song has the perky vibe of honky-tonk boogie, but this upbeat arrangement belies the glum lyrics about a rocker who admits failure and gets a job in a warehouse. It's a wry, funny track that uses the spoonerism "ain't no 'bout a doubt it." The final verse, however, ends the story with a twist.

Exclaim! has the premiere of the song down below.

"Washed-Up Rock Star Factory Blues" will appear on Lund's album Things That Can't Be Undone, which will be out on October 9 through New West Records. See Lund's tour schedule here. This week he also plays at the Americana Music Festival and Conference in Nashville, which you can learn about more over here.
