Continental Drifters

The unusual life of the Continental Drifters continues with this second album, nearly six years after the first. One of the most critically acclaimed, yet unknown "super-groups" in American rock life, the band includes Peter Holsapple (dBs), Susan Cowsill (Cowsills), Mark Walton (Dream Syndicate) and Vicki Peterson (Bangles). As a whole, they're a roots rockin' band in the spirit of the Band or Sheryl Crow (a good thing), making familiar sounds their own by their energy and spirit. Vermilion is the sound of a co-ed Blue Rodeo.
