Before the release of A Head Full of Dreams, Coldplay hinted that the album would be their last complete offering as a band. But just because they aren't committed to delivering any more conventional full-length records, it doesn't mean they won't be releasing new material — and some is on the way soon.
Frontman Chris Martin confirmed through the band's Twitter account that Coldplay will release a new EP titled Kaleidoscope next year.
Following the release of the group's 2014 Ghost Stories album, Coldplay put out an EP titled A Sky Full of Stars — sharing a name with a song from the preceding LP. So, it's probably safe to assume that the forthcoming Kaleidoscope EP will feature — you guessed it — "Kaleidoscope" from A Head Full of Dreams.
Exact details for the release have yet to be revealed, but you can watch a live performance of "Kaleidoscope" below, or stream the interlude-esque song on Spotify beyond that. You can also see the band's upcoming Canadian shows here.
