Coldplay Line Up 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall' EP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 23, 2011

Earlier this month, British pop rockers Coldplay unveiled their latest single, "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall." Well, it turns out that the new song isn't all that the band have up their sleeves: it's actually the title track of a three-song EP, which will come out digitally on Sunday (June 26).

Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall features brand new tracks "Major Minus" and "Moving to Mars." It will be available worldwide, but not in the U.S. or Japan (where it will be released soon).

In addition to the digital version, the EP will be pressed on blue seven-inch vinyl and CD, and be available Monday (June 27). You can pre-order a copy here.

The new songs will premiere online over the next couple of days. "Major Minus" will be posted today (June 23) at 4 p.m. EST, and "Moving to Mars" will follow tomorrow (June 24) at 6:45 a.m. EST. We're guessing radio rips will shortly follow.

Fingers crossed that these new songs don't result in yet another plagiarism accusation for Coldplay.
