BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 29, 2017

Coldplay were supposed to play in Houston on Friday (August 25), but were forced to cancel due to the impending threat of Hurricane Harvey. Now, in the wake of the devastation caused by the storm, the band have shared a new song dedicated to those affected.

Last night (August 28) in Miami, the band debuted a new tune dubbed "Houston #1." Frontman Chris Martin introduced the song by expressing his regret at not being able to perform for their fans in Houston, and asking the Miami crowd to send some of the "beautiful atmosphere" at the Hard Rock Stadium to those in Texas.
