Cold Cave Announce 'Oceans with No End' EP

Last year, chilly New York synth outfit Cold Cave announced plans to record a new album [via Instagram], and while the details of that full-length have yet to be confirmed, we'll soon have an EP to tide us over.

Oceans with No End is being billed as an EP despite only containing two songs. Cold Cave mastermind Wesley Eisold performed all of the instruments. According to a press release, the title track features "upbeat electronics" while B-side "People Are Poison" moves with an "angry swagger." These are said to be "a blindingly beautiful example of morose music at its very best."

A release date for the mini-collection has yet to been announced, but it's scheduled to come out "soon" through Deathwish. The label's website features an image of what appears to be handwritten lyrics for the title track, so check back soon for an audio preview and pre-ordering information.

Cold Cave will be touring Asia in April and May, although the details have not yet been confirmed. Their last album was 2011's Cherish the Light Years.
