Clockwise

Healthy Manipulation

Clockwise vocalist Austin Leduc definitely draws attention on the band's debut disc, Healthy Manipulation. The only vocal comparison I can use is Finger Eleven's Scott Anderson, but that isn't a very good one. Leduc lacks strength, or maybe it is the form that seems off. One thing I can pinpoint is that the songs on their debut disc are not strong enough for his style of voice, as the guitars, drums and bass are not forceful enough. London, ON, producer Dan Brodbeck (Headstrong) has fostered typical sounds out of the Las Vegas quintet - Red Hot Chili Peppers bass lines are all over this record. In the end, the record just feels weak and limp.
