So as not to disturb their sleeping neighbours, Chris Douglas and Mike Donovan have transformed themselves into tiny (but muscular) mice-like creatures to play delicate songs on guitar and electronics, also transformed to conform to their dimensions. So charming are these that you'd scarcely want to chase them out of the kitchen with a broom. The songs and instrumentals on the EP bloom from minimalist seeds, taking root in the cracks between the quiet electronics of David Kristian/Oval/Scanner and the pocket-sized elegies of Low /Codeine/ Idaho. So leave out a few crumbs and maybe they'll drift in, set up and serenade you with shimmers and ticks and other things that go thump in the night.
