Who are you? Chris Bryan.

What are you up to? Working at a Winnipeg record store, 3 music projects (1 grind, 1 no-wave, 1 digital).

Hometown and current HQ: Winnipeg, MB.

Current fixations: Italian horror, hard electronic music (kid606, lesser, alic empire etc.)

Mind altering work of art (not your own): Cemetary Man (movie).

Most memorable/inspirational gig and why? Oval. He made my head feel like it was going to collapse.

What should everyone shut up about? Most everything (oh, i sound like a cocky jerk).

Your greatest strength and weakness: Strength: to not notice when bad things happen to me. Weakness: Dido.

Your vital daily ritual: 3 bowls of cereal in the morning. If i've done this I can justify not eating another health meal all day.

Guilty pleasure: Neil Young's Trans LP.

If I wasn't playing music I would be: Playing video games.

Your most memorable day job: Working for a mafia-run bowling alley.

Best/worst advice received: Best: "don't go to university" - grade 10 math teacher. Worst: "you might as well try it once" - I don't seem to remember who said that one.

I would drop everything to play a benefit for: Getting a record plant in Canada.

What makes you want to take it off and get it on? Not much. I'm pretty scared of sex.

What personal trait would make you kick someone out of your band? And have you? Fakeness. I can't stand people who pretend to be something they aren't. No I haven't, I'm not that confident.

When I think of Canada I think: We're not the States! We're not the States!

Music and sex: Is there a difference? Why? Yes. Music never f*cks me up like sex.

Strangest brush with celebrity: Hey I got a good one... I was at the Albert for a Les Sexerenos show and Christina Ricci was there. She was telling everyone off, bumming smokes off people and drunkingly smashed into me when she was dancing with here Winnipeg boyfriend. My giant Christina Ricci crush instantly dissolved.

What does your mom wish you were doing instead? Watching less horror movies.
