Mysterious folkster Chelsea Wolfe has been dropping teaser clips from her upcoming album Unknown Rooms since it was announced in the summer, and up next is a moody strummer called "Appalachia."
The track, which you can stream below, gets by on a simple drum beat and moody fuzz-bass, but the real highlight is the spectral interweaving of violin runs and Wolfe's doom-and-gloom falsetto. There's also a momentary campfire-style sing-along at the end, which was no doubt recorded while everyone was making toasting marshmallows towards the gothiest shade of black.
