Rising UK pop star Charli XCX is apparently working on new tunes with another famous Brit, namely Britney Spears.
XCX recently noted that one song has already been penned for Spears, though it's unclear at present if the as yet unnamed track will appear as a single or album track any time soon.
"I was freaking out. I didn't even want to go to the session I was so excited. I was so worried I would fuck it up," XCX told Digital Spy of the experience. "I was doing some stuff for that yesterday actually. Who knows how it will go. We've written one song and it's a great track and if she likes it then amazing. It was just an honour to be asked."
On top of dropping True Romance earlier this year, XCX helped co-wrote Icona Pop's UK chart-topping "I Love It," on which she also sings.
Sadly for North American fans, XCX recently cancelled her upcoming tour to open for Paramore on a European trip.
