Chairlift

"Romeo"

Brooklyn pop duo Chairlift have spread their wings again to unveil a second single from their forthcoming Moth LP. This time they're touching on Greek mythology with their "Romeo."

A press release explains that the new single is sung from the perspective of fast-footed huntress Atalanta, with the figure taking a few digs at the apparently duplicitous nature of the title character. It's charged that said Romeo can only catch up to her if he cheats, but the narrator sends out all the same: "Put on your running shoes I'm ready to go."

The latest Chairlift track, which follows "Ch-Ching," can be found below. Moth will be released January 22 via Columbia Records.
