Cardi B has been indicted on multiple charges, including two felony charges, in relation to a strip club brawl last summer.
The rapper turned herself in back in October, after being summoned to court for allegedly ordering an attack on two bartenders (Jade and Baddie Gi) at New York City strip club Angels.
The bartenders claim that they were injured in the brawl last August, after Cardi's entourage began throwing chairs and bottles at them. Cardi allegedly accused Jade of sleeping with her husband, Offset.
At the time, Cardi B was charged with two misdemeanours for assault and reckless endangerment, but she rejected a plea deal that would have resulted in a conditional discharge for pleading guilty to one misdemeanour.
Now, according to TMZ, a grand jury has indicted Cardi on 14 charges — including two felony counts of attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Among the other charges are misdemeanour reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.
Prosecutors reportedly decided to take the case to a grand jury based on evidence uncovered during the investigation, though they have not elaborated on specific details.
