Will Toledo will release his latest LP as Car Seat Headrest when Teens of Denial drops later this spring, serving as his label debut for Matador. In anticipation of its arrival, the singer-songwriter has shared a new video for the upcoming album track "Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales."
The new clip follows some previously shared visual accompaniment for "Vincent," and according to Toledo, the track itself is about a lingering post-party sadness. It's about "wishing to either be a better person or careless about the whole deal," he said in a press release. "Going home alone, in poor condition. The 'killer whales' bit is inspired by Blackfish, which is a depressing film."
That bummer sentiment gets paired with a lyric video that scrawls the words across footage of a long, dark drive. Watch it in the player below.
Teens of Denial is out on May 20 through Matador.
