Calgary indie-psych band 36? have launched a GoFundMe to support their recovery after getting in a car accident in the US that totalled their van.

While driving through Colorado last week, the band's van slipped on black ice and flipped off the road, falling down a 50-foot embankment off the side of the highway near the town of Walden. The vehicle made three full rotations, but thankfully, the three touring bandmates, Taylor Cochrane, Laura Hickli and Brandon Garay, managed to escape with their lives.

Unfortunately, they had to sell the newly-converted van, which they had been living in: "We would eventually meet the tow truck driver in the parking lot of the office and sell them the remains of our new-converted home on wheels for $300 off the originally quoted $1,900 USD tow truck fee," they explained.

36? remain stranded in Colorado and are staying with Hickili's uncle in Denver until they can figure out their next step. The crowdsourcing campaign is looking to raise $60,000 to cover the costs of a new van, counselling and physiotherapy to aid in recovering from the traumatic event, and any additional miscellaneous costs during the transitory period, including travelling back to Calgary.
