Rolling back into Burlington, ON, for its 37th annual event, the Sound of Music Festival has revealed the details for this year's event.
The fest will take over Burlington's downtown and waterfront for nine days, starting with a ticketed event on June 11 featuring performances from the Cult, Headstones, the Glorious Sons, Pop Evil, the Watchmen, Silverstein and Chemical Burn.
The following weekend (June 16-19) features a wealth of free performances from the likes of Mother Mother, I Mother Earth, Soul Asylum, Lighthouse, Hawksley Workman, Junkhouse, the Dirty Nil, the OBGMs, the Elwins, Sam Cash & the Romantic Dogs, Sass Jordan and many more.
"Our event continues to provide an unrivalled level of entertainment, brought to Burlington each year, none of which would be possible without the year-round efforts of our incredible volunteer group and generous sponsors," said executive director Dave Miller in a statement.
President Andy Porecki added: "We're proud to present an exciting and entertaining line-up that offers up new music discovery and a bit of nostalgia too. Sound of Music has something for everyone."
Tickets for the kickoff event on June 11 are on sale now, but you can find full details on the rest of the fest at its official website.
