Just when you thought Built to Spill couldn't get any looser, they turn around and write and record a reggae tune that solidifies their awesomeness. Recently selling out a deuce in Toronto (their first two shows ever in the city), as well as casting spells across the rest of Canada, Doug Martsch and co. have closed what is sure to be another lengthy gap between albums with this original new single (its backed by a cover of the Gladiators' "Re-Arrange"). Boosted with a heavy dosage of reverb and Brett Nelsons markedly doped out bass riff, Martschs trademark noodling is expectedly in top form, while the rhythm guitars of Brett Netson and Jim Roth chop away and bring the effortless melodies. Boise Cover Band eat your heart out!
