Bruisers

In The Pit: Live And Rare

BY Rob FerrazPublished Sep 1, 2000

The Bruisers are one of those bands that were around at the wrong time. Formed in New Hampshire in 1988, they played tough-as-nails oi for about ten years before disbanding and singer Al Barr went on to join the Dropkick Murphys. This disc represents 18 songs from their early years, from '89 to '92. Included are many unreleased and live songs and covers of Angelic Upstarts, Blitz and Iron Cross songs clocking in at 45 minutes. Fans of the new wave of oi/street punk may want to check this out.
