Before You Sleep is a pneumatic followup to the Bristol producer's prolific string of releases in 2016, including his Steals EP via Ben UFO's label, Hessle Audio.
With Before You Sleep, the London based producer evokes the ominous granularity that underscored the appeal of Steals. According to the McCarthy, this EP is "a glimpse into the delirious vacuum of thoughts and weariness induced by habitual insomnia," a notion best exemplified by the pressurized tempos and nocturnal textures throughout the record.
