Last year, Beliefs member Josh Korody rolled out his project Breeze, and now the band have shared a new music video for the single "Dolls."
The song is a jangly dream-pop number that builds with fuzz during the cooing choruses. The accompanying visuals emphasize the blurry retro haze with lots of disorienting closeups of the band members performing, and these shots are intercut with footage of flowers.
Breeze will celebrate the release of their digital "Dolls" single through Hand Drawn Dracula with a Toronto show at the Holy Oak on Saturday (August 24).
The band also features Kyle Connolly (Elk), Shawn Dell (Great Bloomers) and Dustin Hawthorne (Hot Hot Heat, Islands). They have been working on their debut album at Korody's Candle Recording Studio along with the frontman's production partner Leon Taheny (Austra, Owen Pallett, Maylee Todd).
