From world tours to studio sessions to just plain hanging out, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has seen a lot of co-founder Mick Jagger since the early '60s, but apparently not as much as he's had us believe. A new interview with the iconic six-stringer has him revealing that despite the scandalous manhood-dissing claim in his 2010 autobiography Life, he has no idea how big Mick's penis is. That's right, he's never actually taken a gander at the so-called "tiny todger."
"I mean, I've never seen it. I only heard," Richards confessed to GQ. [via NY Mag].
In the book, he said of Jagger, "I know he's got an enormous pair of balls -- but it doesn't quite fill the gap," but the exposition was refuted not soon after by Jagger's ex Jerry Hall, who told the UK's the Telegraph, "Mick is very well endowed. I should know -- I was with him for 23 years. Keith is just jealous."
A year removed from Richards's tall tale, not to mention the revelation that his relationship with his longtime pal had been strained for years, the guitarist explains he wants to thrust himself in a new direction.
"I really don't want to go into it anymore, because what is in the book is in the book, and the fact is that Mick and I still talk and are still working together," he said. "So maybe that was another balance that needed to be sorted out. Mick and me, two guys divided by love."
Ultimately, he chalks the whole incident to having a bit of fun at his buddy's expense.
"It was a joke. Between friends a joke's a joke, and if you can't take a joke..."
