Bon Iver's Justin Vernon Re-teams with Volcano Choir for New Album

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 28, 2013

Before last year's self-titled release pushed his career to the next level, making him one of the hugest acts in the world, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon spent some time performing with the group Volcano Choir. Now, they've announced plans to release a new album.

The new release is called Repave, and marks their first album since 2009's Unmap. As always, Volcano Choir sees Vernon working in collaboration with members of the band Collections of Colonies of Bees.

Repave will be available on September 3 via Jagjaguwar. A trailer for the album is available below, along with the tracklist. That's the album cover above.

The group will also spend some time touring this September, including a stop in Toronto on September 8.
