It's been a long five years since the last Bombay Bicycle Club studio album, but they are back with their refreshing pop-jangly sound.  Everything Else Has Gone Wrong features a plethora of tracks that feel similar to 2014's So Long, See You Tomorrow, but with a more mellow yet sincere feel. Songs like "I Can Hardly Speak," "Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)" and "Good Day" don't have the level of energy fans are used to, but they all pack a punch in a unique way.

A dose of psychedelic pop, captivating hooks, and guitar trembles enhance the listening experience. Exploring the themes of new opportunities, growth, disconnection and hope, listeners can feel frontman Jack Steadman's raw emotions.

"I guess I've found my peace again, and yes, I've found my second wind," Steadman sings on "Everything Else Has Gone Wrong," suggesting that fans were not the only ones yearning for a comeback.
