Before he was a Top 40 radio champion with his Rivers Cuomo and Hayley Williams collaborations, B.o.B was a promising Southern rapper with less of an obnoxious pop bent. Here's hoping he can regain some of that glory, as he's now confirmed a collaborative album with T.I. called The Man and the Martian.
The long-rumoured collaboration was confirmed in a new interview with Hot 97 that can be viewed below. After mentioning that he's nearly completed his sophomore record, B.o.B said, "Now, me and Tip are working on The Man and the Martian project."
He continued, "It's a collab album, just something to have fun with. We actually have several songs. We actually have been talking about this for a while, but it's just, now that he's back and we've got time to record, it's a lot easier to manifest."
While a release date hasn't been solidified, B.o.B promises this one's actually coming out, so keep an eye out for The Man and the Martian in 2012.
Thanks to Complex for the tip.
