BMG has settled its lawsuit with MGA Entertainment. The record label filed a claim earlier this year claiming the toymaker's line of pooping unicorn dolls was advertised using an unauthorized parody of the Black Eyed Peas' 2005 classic, "My Humps."
We really wish the commercial in question wasn't scrubbed off the web, because it was truly a fever dream. MGA's Poopsie Slime Surprise dolls spawned a $10 million lawsuit after the ad track "My Poops" bore an eery similarity to "My Humps" — from the melody to the vocals that supposedly sounded "very similar" to Fergie's.
The two companies settled out of court earlier this week, and the terms of the agreement have not been released as of press time.
Beyond the commercial, one of the Poopsie Slime Surprise dolls apparently sang "My Poops" when its belly button was pushed. The closest you can get to seeing the original is this meme of it — proving that nothing on the internet truly dies. Watch it below.
