Appropriately dubbed "cosmic Americana" artist Black Country — a.k.a. Joshua Richardson — has an album coming out this year through Mudtown Records, and to give us an introduction, he's shared a video for an eponymous song.
"Black Country" is an ultra-mellow acoustic cut that's overlaid with reverb-y, spaced-out textures and features harmonies from Megan Hamilton. The accompanying video is even more slow-paced than the song itself, as we see footage of a snowy landscape passing by. It was shot in Grey County, ON, which Richardson calls home.
