Black Breath Announce 'Northwest Perversion Tour,' Play Vancouver
As previously reported, Seattle thrash mystics Black Breath are just about to hit the studio with Kurt Ballou to record their third full-length and first since 2011's Sentenced to Life. Now, the group has revealed they will roadtest some of the new tunes on a tour of the Pacific Northwest.

Revealed over their Facebook page was the info behind next January's "Northwest Perversion Tour." The trip kicks off in guitarist Mark Palm's hometown of Vancouver, with the January 16 appearance at the Astoria marking the first-ever Canadian concert date for Black Breath.

As you'll see down below, the Pacific Northwest trek also features shows in Bellingham, Portland and Seattle, with opening act including Baptists.

The quintet are prepped to hit Salem, MA's GodCity Studios at the end of November to track the as-yet-untitled effort. The Washington thrashers had also worked with the Converge guitarist for 2010's Heavy Breathing and 2011's Sentenced to Life.

Southern Lord had previously promised that the upcoming Black Breath effort lands sometime early next year, with the collection further pushing the crew into Swedish death metal and d-beat-driven sounds.
