1. Bob Dylan Love and Theft (Columbia)

What a great album from one of the greatest musical personalities ever. And after these last two albums, it wouldn't surprise me if he has at least five or six more masterpieces left in him. -Neil Brewer, Fredricton NB

After years of apathy, it seems as if Bob Dylan has rediscovered his roots. Despite his age, he seems born again. -Marie-Eve Lepage, Laval QC

2. Sadies Tremendous Efforts (Bloodshot)

When was the last time you heard anything as raw and ready as Dallas Good belting out notes he can't reach? -Graham Lessard, London ON

The album says more than I ever could. Their live show says even more. -Shawn Petsche, Pointe-Claire QC

3. Neko Case And Her Boyfriends Canadian Amp (Lady Pilot)

Neko is the First Lady of Country, not to mention the sweetest & sexiest as well. -Harry Mulhall, Toronto ON

Obviously meant as an appetiser to her forthcoming full-length release. I can't wait for the main course! –Brendan Edwards, Peterborough ON

4. Luther Wright and the Wrongs Rebuild the Wall (Universal)

Who knew that countrified Pink Floyd would translate so well?.-Jared Mcketiak, Winnipeg MB

Freakin' amazing. I 'm not a big country fan, but I love the sweet sound of this album. If you or someone you know is a Pink Floyd fan, this album is a must have addition to anyone's music collection. -Andrew Keachie, Sault Ste. Marie ON

5. Ryan Adams Gold (Lost Highway)

The straight Elton John of country-rock. Gram Parsons would be proud. –Ronald Smith, Kingston ON

There's always a place for, and an audience hungry for, well-written, well-played songs with absolutely no regard for the ebbing and flowing of the industry's trend watch. -Patrick Duffy, Toronto ON

A quality piece of pure pop heartbreak, with old country swooning and homage to Dylan's homesick blues, New York-style. -Leeanne Frederick, Bowmanville ON
