"Archie, Marry Me" (Alvvays cover) (live video)

Death Cab for Cutie are adjusting to life after the departure of founding member Chris Walla, but are nevertheless charging ahead with a new album, and frontman Ben Gibbard is keeping extra busy with side-projects like his Laggies film score.

Over the weekend, Gibbard was one of the performers at a Seattle benefit show organized by Power2Give/Puget Sound, where he shared something else he's been working on — his Molly Rankin impression.

Gibbard, seated at the piano, delivered a cover of Alvvays' "Archie, Marry Me" to the crowd. An impressive nod to the Toronto-based band, you can see a short, Instagram-shot snippet of Gibbard's rendition below.
