Bell Rays

There are a few high energy rock'n'roll bands out there that can kick ass like the Bell Rays, but what sets this Los Angeles band apart from the crowd is soul shouter Lisa Kekaula's powerful vocals, which bring to mind some of the best '70s rock, in spirit of the MC5. Once upon a time, hard rock was soulful and the Bell Rays revisit those days. On their second release, Grand Fury, the band's blistering power is captured on disc with truly passionate performances that only hint at what a powerhouse live band they are.
