As previously reported, pillowy-soft slowcore outfit Bedhead's career-observing Bedhead 1992-1998 arrives November 11 through Numero Group. One of the many rarities popping up on the set's disc of B-sides is a sleepy cover the Dallas unit did of the Stranglers' "Golden Brown," which you can hear online now.
A press release explains that the cut was captured on tape back in 1995, and plays just as preciously as the UK outfit's original single. This time, though, the song is delivered a key or two lower, with the classically-minded harpsichord work replaced with the gentle, jazzy noodling of a six-string.
