Adding to their history of occasional reunions, Bauhaus have revealed plans to get together for a one-off performance later this year.
A press release notes the band's original lineup of frontman Peter Murphy, guitarist Daniel Ash, bassist David J and drummer Kevin Haskins will perform a reunion show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on November 3. No other dates have been announced.
News of the reunion comes a month after Murphy suffered a heart attack, resulting in the postponement of a solo residency in New York. Murphy later confirmed that he had made a "full recovery."
Bauhaus have reunited for tours and one-off performances a number of times since calling it quits in 1983.
The band first reformed in 1998 for their "Resurrection Tour" and reunited again in 2005 for an appearance at Coachella before a wider tour of North America. That same year, they opened for Nine Inch Nails for a tour of the United States.
Bauhaus last released Go Away White in 2008 and announced shortly after the album's release that they would be splitting up once again. In 2017, Ash and Haskins toured as Poptone, while Murphy and David J toured New Zealand, Australia and Europe to mark Bauhaus' 40th anniversary.
Tickets for the Hollywood Palladium show go on sale to the public this Friday (September 13) at 10 a.m. PDT, while Live Nation and Citi pre-sales will take place on Thursday (September 12).
