Interpol/Wu-Tang Offshoot Banks & Steelz Reveal Debut Album, Share "Giant"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 9, 2016

Following a three-year incubation period, Interpol frontman Paul Banks and Wu-Tang rapper/producer RZA have formally announced their first album as Banks & Steelz. The pair's Anything but Words sees release August 26 and will be supported with a North American tour.

Album details were delivered today (June 9), with it now being confirmed that the collection will feature 12 songs. This includes the previously premiered, Ghostface Killah-featuring "Love + War," though the Ironman isn't the only guest on the LP. Also showing up on Banks & Steelz's debut are Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch, Kool Keith, and RZA's Wu-Tang pals Method Man and Masta Killa.

To help tease the release, Banks & Steelz are streaming opening track "Giant," which you'll find below.

While the partnership had recently announced a few upcoming festival appearances, they've now unveiled a fuller North American tour schedule. The trek finds them crossing over into Canada for a show at Toronto's Mod Club on September 6.
