Band of Horses Announce September Release for New Album

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 22, 2012

Within the past calendar year, the members of Band of Horses have given a couple of solo LPs in the form of Tyler Ramsey's The Valley Wind and Ryan Monroe's A Painting of a Painting on Fire. Now, the hirsute folk rockers are back together and ready to release the follow-up to 2010's Infinite Arms.

As-yet-untitled album is scheduled to hit shelves this September. It was produced by Glyn Johns, the esteemed British studio whiz who has worked with the likes of the Beatles, Eric Clapton, the Who and Bob Dylan.

Not much else is known about the collection, and all we have to go on is a minute-long teaser clip featuring a track called "Dumpster World," which you can check out below. It features a black and white shot of running water, along with some studio footage of the group.
