Adult Swim's crass, backcountry cephalopod comedy Squidbillies has been entertaining/frightening us via the hopped-up, ultra-violent antics of the Cuyler clan for years now. Along the way, the cult cartoon has picked up a following, which apparently includes South Carolina-based alt-country act Band of Horses. The group are such big fans, in fact, that they recently put a twist of the television show's theme song.
As you can see below, the opening credits feature the outfit pluggin' away at the basic hillbilly blues number with new lyrics about attending a paint-guzzlin' family reunion way, way down south in the pits of hell.
