Bad Bunny has very specific rules for friendship — and if you create or consume AI-generated music, you won't make the cut.
The Latin trap star and SNL alum ranted to a WhatsApp group of his fans on the weekend about the viral song "NostalgIA," featuring AI-created vocals from himself, Justin Bieber and Daddy Yankee.
"If you like that shitty song that's viral on TikTok, get out of this group right now," he wrote, according to Business Insider. "You don't deserve to be my friends and that's why I made the new album, to get rid of people like that."
"I don't want them on the tour either," he continued, referring to his lengthy 2024 trek, which rolls through Toronto in April.
Of late, artists like Grimes, Lauv and the Beatles have embraced the use of AI, while several others, including Drake, have raised concerns about its potential consequences.
