Aw, shucks. These North Carolinians are so cute that they even have their own theme song ("Meet the B-Sides! Won't you come out and play?"), and sing about girls named Megan "listening to Pinkerton out by the fire." They claim that this, their second album subtitled "The Best Of," is actually material from their next four unrecorded albums. Yes, it's sweet geek rock at its finest. Like a less punchy Salteens, the Local Rabbits with a sweet tooth, or Beulah's younger brothers, the B-Sides have plenty of talent to prove that they're not just all charm.
