Animal Collective member Avey Tare and the rest of his Slasher Flicks project have served up a new single for the synesthetes out there, blurring all sorts of sensations in the psychedelic new vid for "Strange Colores."
The track pounds and pummels with a cyclic groove of drums and haunting keyboard stabs, while simultaneously running smooth via Tare's appealing cries about the "nicest light you would like a taste." Judging by the rainbow of spotlights running across the trio and a background of plastic skulls, we're guessing the flavour of a full bag of Skittles hit the musicians' mouths throughout the video shoot.
You can taste the band's rainbow by checking out the video down below. As previously reported, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks Enter the Slasher House LP drops April 8 via Domino.
