Just this afternoon (July 6), we learned that creeped-out Toronto electro outfit Austra scored a place on the Polaris Music Prize short list with their debut LP Feel It Break. Now, we've received word that the acclaimed collection has sparked a full-length remix effort.
Entitled Sparkle, the release will be available digitally through Paper Bag Records on July 26. The ten tracks include contributions from Young Galaxy, Planningtorock, Mark Pistel and more. There are a whopping six takes of the single "Lose It."
A twelve-inch vinyl version will follow a month after, on August 23, but it will feature only six songs. See the tracklists of both versions below.
